Por su parte, Dr. Dre prometió que su actuación será recordada como la de Michael Jackson o la de Prince y destacó que por fin se abrió un espacio para el hip hop. “Toda la vida he sido considerado alguien destinado a fallar y me gusta probar que se equivocan. Ver a dónde hemos llegado los aquí presentes es inspirador. Tardaron mucho en reconocernos como artistas, es increíble que pasó más de medio siglo para que al hip hop le abrieran este espacio y ahora demostraremos a todos que nos merecemos el respeto que tanto se nos debe”, declaró.
